So I thought I had this one on there.. guess not.A brine is very simple and makes meat soooo tender... I suggest soaking your turkey over night... then it will be very moist and flavorful..
2 gallons of water
1 Cup of salt
1 Cup of dark brown sugar
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoon of garlic powder
1/2 Cup of italian seasoning.. or any seasoning.. cajun, or what ever seasoning you want...
boil all this together until the sugar is melted.. let it cool and put your turkey in it.. or what ever meat you want to cook or smoke...
You can keep the brine for your next batch of meat as well.. just keep it in the refrigerator...
