Easy Peasy Turkey Chili

Wow.. this rainy day makes me want to make chili.. This is a great recipe that will warm up your insides on a nasty day...

Easy Peasy Turkey Chili

Of course you can use beef, or ground sausage or what ever you want.. I am just trying to be health conscious.

1lb ground turkey
1 medium onion chopped
1 medium green pepper chopped
 Saute these ingredients with salt and pepper until turkey is cooked through..
Add two cans of chopped tomatoes, and chili powder... and if you want a kick add a chopped jalapeno.

This is totally gluten free.. and if you really want to use a seasoning packet .. read your labels.. because not all seasonings are GF..  This is great served with corn bread.. but eat that in moderation...

If you want gourmet you can add a dab of low fat sour cream, chopped onions, cheddar cheese and chives..

Great dish for a Sunday afternoon.. made with love for the fam.
